Delete your data

1. What this page is for
You can ask DropRyde to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. This includes data that came from a Facebook Page, Instagram account, Google or Microsoft account you connected to DropRyde.
You do not need an account to make a request.
2. Step 1: Disconnect your Facebook and Instagram (if you connected them)
In DropRyde: go to Connections, find Facebook or Instagram and tap Disconnect. Your employee stops reading, posting and replying straight away, and we delete the access token we stored.
In Facebook: open Facebook, go to Settings & privacy > Settings > Business integrations (sometimes called Apps and websites), find DropRyde and tap Remove. You can also tick the option to delete posts, videos or events DropRyde published for you.
In Instagram: go to Settings > Website permissions > Apps and websites, find DropRyde and tap Remove.
Either step on its own cuts our access. Doing both is the cleanest.
3. Step 2: Ask us to delete your data
Email privacy@dropryde.com with the subject "Data deletion request", or use the button below. Include:
• Your name
• The email or phone number on your DropRyde account
• The Facebook Page or Instagram account you connected, if any
You can also ask through our /contact page, or ask your DropRyde employee by phone or WhatsApp to pass the request to us.
4. What we delete
• Access tokens for any connected Facebook, Instagram, Google or Microsoft account.
• Messages, comments and posts we copied from those accounts so your employee could read and answer them.
• Your profile, contacts, conversation history, call recordings and transcripts, and settings.
• Your DropRyde account itself, if you ask for that.
What we have to keep: records the law requires, such as invoices, payments and tax records (typically 7 years under US law), and records needed to settle an open dispute. These are kept only for that purpose and then deleted.
Deleting your DropRyde data does not delete anything inside Facebook or Instagram itself. Posts and messages on those platforms are controlled in your Facebook and Instagram settings.
5. How long it takes
We confirm we received your request within 2 business days and finish the deletion within 30 days. We email you when it is done, with a reference number for your request.
To protect you, we may ask you to confirm the request from the email or phone number on the account before we delete anything.
